What if your faith looks real—but isn't?
We’re kicking off our new sermon series Deep Fake: When the Artificial Appears Authentic with a challenging message called “Fool Proof.”
It is possible to become familiar with the things of God without actually being transformed by God.
In this message, we uncover the gap between cultural Christianity and authentic discipleship. Scripture warns that some can have “a form of godliness” while denying its power. Spiritual pretending, surface-level faith, and religious performance can exist even inside the walls of the church.
But Jesus calls us to something deeper.
Not everyone who shows up in the house of God walks in the wisdom of God.
This message challenges us to examine our faith and ask an important question:
Am I truly following Jesus, or have I simply become familiar with the things of God?
