Luke 10:38-42
Devotion

Have you ever been so busy doing good things that you've missed what matters most? In the final week of Battle Rounds, we look at Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42. Both welcomed Jesus, but their different priorities reveal an important lesson about devotion. Martha was distracted by everything that needed to be done. Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet and listen. Their story challenges us to examine our own lives and ask whether busyness is keeping us from being present with God. Our greatest spiritual battles aren't always fought around us. Sometimes, they're fought within us—in our priorities, our distractions, and the choices we make every day. You can be busy doing good things and still miss the most important thing. Discover what it means to choose presence over distraction and allow devotion to shape your spiritual clarity, emotional health, and relationship with Jesus.
